SHE SHE Code Lead role

Natural, but not exclusive, point of contact for staff and others’ enquiries and questions about their Code(s).
Maintaining a watching brief on relevant legislative changes in respect to the systems associated with the Code.
Natural lead, but not exclusive, lead for maintaining and updating their code(s) from Change, through consultation with interested parties and as appropriate to presentation at STFC SHE Management Committee to gain approval for major changes.
Specific oversight of the training recommended by their Code(S) ensuring that where third party trainers are employed the training appendix has recommended training providers and courses for the SHE training administrators to implement. This will likely include attending training detailed in the code. Similarly, for in-house delivered training.
Maintaining the associated BiteSize for their Code(S).
Ensure through their own ADPR that they maintain and/or develop competence in the hazard(s) for their Code(s).
Member, and as appropriate lead, for the audit of their Code(s).
